Description: View from slightly above of what appears to be a man-made reservoir, behind that, a wood post fence, lake, and single-story structure on the Santa Anita Ranch owned by Elias Jackson "Lucky" Baldwin in San Gabriel (now chiefly in Arcadia, California). Further out, a few more buildings, trees, and the San Gabriel Mountains.
Title derived from Watkins New Series stereo #4442. Date devised by cataloger; Watkins made two trips to Southern California, in 1877 and 1880. Transcribed from back of photo: "Baldwin's Lake."
