Description
Shown to the right in this circa 1995 postcard are the California State Senate Chambers; to the left are those occupied by the California State Assembly. Located at the south wing of the Capitol Building, the Assembly Chamber is graced by a William Cosgrove rendition of Abraham Lincoln, which hangs just above the speaker's rostrum. Hanging above the Senate's rostrum, is a six by 12-foot painting of George Washington.
