Description
Connie and Faye begin the interview discussing the diamond industry’s history and its Jewish heritage before moving into the Jewishness of the characters in the book, with Faye reflecting on her own Jewish identity. They proceed to discuss how Faye’s research was facilitated by Israel being so small and accessible, as compared to the United States, and the gender make-up of the police forces in Israel, before moving on to character particulars in the narrative. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
