Patron believes the diptych was used as a marketing piece, used to sell lots/property. She said it originally had a green folding frame/carrying case. Tavern of Tamalpais seen at top left of Mt. Tam, Ralston White Retreat building on hill at right, 45 Coronet next door. Neighborhood is called Land of Pan. History of 47 Coronet as per patron: - House was built in 1904. - Was bought by patron's husband, Rolland McCready, in 1960. McCready bought the house from the Sherrill family. - House was originally built for a family that lived in Berkeley. They had a sickly son. The main floor of the home featured an open air porch, two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and dining area. Upstairs was originally one large room, which had a scale model train for the young boy. A nanny lived in a basement bedroom. A buzzer in the basement allowed the nanny to communicate with the upper levels of the house.
