B. Inoue, of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., writes Kenneth Hopper thanking him for his letter dated August 26th, together with a copy of Professor Chandler's letter. He says that it was decided that Hopper's article will be inserted in the October issue of JIVTA's (Japan Industrial and Vocational Training Association) monthly magazine. Inoue tells Hopper that he has asked SEI (Sumitomo Electric Industries) to translate his article into Japanese. He goes on to say that he read the paper and added some amendments and wrote a short postface to Hopper's article at the request of JIVTA. The letter contains Hopper's original signature.
