Description
Photograph caption dated December 7, 1962 reads "Winner of first prize in table decorations was Dave Grubbs Ford Co., Burbank. The creation was designed by Mrs. Rush Spaulding, Glendale, who, with her husband, is at right. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Grubb, left, admire the finished product." The article partially reads "In the Starlight Room of the Castaway Restaurant at the end of Harvard Rd. in Burbank, guests dined and danced after viewing 'An American Pageant in Art,' a nationwide closed circuit television broadcast for the benefit of the proposed National Cultural Center in Washington, D.C."
