Description
Photograph of The Palms Hotel in Healdsburg, ca.1900. At center is what appears to be a Spanish-influenced building in a "U" shape with a fountain in the center of the resulting courtyard area. The left portion of the "U" is composed of a one-story building with arches in front forming a covered walkway. The middle portion of the structure is composed of a two-story building with arches on both stories. Flowers are visible cascading from the second-story arches. To the right, a rectangular sign is visible on the third portion of the structure, which reads, "The Palms Hotel". Various flowers and bushes are planted against the walls of the structure, while a dirt road is visible in the foreground. A portion of a tree is visible to the left, while utility lines run from left to right above the structure.
