hotograph shows the Free Library in Chico, Califronia. The new Carnegie Library when it was built in 1905. Located on the corner of 2nd and Salem Streets. The building is currently the Chico Museum at 141 Salem [2007]. Written on back of postcard: "Dear Auntie, Geo. is home - all we talk about is "camping". I am glad u rec'd roots all O.K. They are putting telephone poles all over Barber and makes things look horrible. We had a hail storm last Thurs. did quite a bit of damage to my vines. Love to all from Evaline.
