Description
Photograph of "Mayas of [?]iuchil, Yucatan, after Mass December 8th. These men speak hardly any Spanish. They work in the [?] fields cutting the plant out of which comes the fibre for the production of rope and twine." A group of thirteen men pose for this group portrait outdoors in front of the arched entrance to a church. Two of the men hold hats in their hands. Behind them are some women and children.
