An arched screen window showing 'the tree of life' intricately carved in stone. The pattern shows branches and foliage weaving into complex designs. Part of the next arched window is visible and shows stone blocks made up of various geometric patterns. ❧ This is one of a series of photographs contained in an album showing popular tourist attractions in India, the album was owned by an unknown Church of Scotland missionary who had probably taken the tour whilst working out in the region. Unfortunately there is very little information with the photographs as to there ownership or subject matter.
