Photograph of a panoramic view of Los Angeles looking southeast from the State Normal School, 1910-1919. The cityscape is thriving with commercial buildings. Smoke spew out of the exhaust vents of several of the larger buildings. Notable buildings are the Union Trust Building (center right), the Hotel Trenton (center left), and the Grant Building (center). Trees are sparsely scattered throughout the city.
