This facility, now known as Barry J. Nidorf Juvenile Hall, is located at 16350 Filbert St. in Sylmar.
Photograph caption dated December 30, 1964 reads, "Big sisters Co-Chairmen of the Juvenile Hall Committee are Mrs. Norman E. Cobb, left, and Mrs. A. J. Rizzo. Here the ladies look over the modern kitchen of the new San Fernando Valley Juvenile Hall facility in Sylmar.
