Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of Los Angeles from Second Street and Hill Street, ca.1890-1895. Several two-story residences are in the foreground. The square tower of City Hall is visible further back, not on Second Street. The First Presbyterian Church with a large spire can be seen further down Second Street. A few other church spires dot the cityscape at right. Utility poles, lines, and streetcar tracks go up Second Street. Legible signs include: "B. Sens & Son, merchant tailors, entrance on Broadway".
