Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO). Communique no. 100 reports from Niassa province - Eastern military region: 9 ambushes on the roads of Luis, Litunde, Antonio-Maua, Luvila-Chiconono, Lissau-Mtelela and Antonio-Revia, PRELIMO guerrillas destroyed 9 Portuguese military vehicles
PRELIMO fighters informed by the people that the enemy was repairing the road Antonio-Maua
FRELIMO troops organised an attack against the Portuguese military post of Litunde, in Mtelela
The guerrillas divided themselves into two groups and made 2 coordinated attacks, at the same time against 2 enemy camps in Ncualu and Chalamanda
FRELIMO guerrillas persecuted a big enemy group which was moving towards Chipota.
