This is a photograph of a water mill in the village of Koo Lam. "In the village of Koo Lam we have a few Christians. This water mill is kept on the move by the river current. The water falls into the bamboo troughs and then it is carried by means of bamboo ducts into the adjacent rice fields and at times it supplies the rice fields miles away. The entire wheel is made out of bamboo."
