Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of Hollywood looking south from the Roosevelt Hotel, February 1929. A small, one-story Victorian-style house stands in the foreground to the left, to the right of which a slightly larger home stands with a porch that extends across its entire front face and a peaked roof. Both homes have what appear to be personal water towers in their back yards, as well as windmills. More non-Victorian residences fill the frame behind them. In the distance to the right, a two-story brick building stands apart from the rest of the houses.
