Description
Photograph of the patio of the Rancho Los Cerritos ranch house, ca.1890-1910. At center, a courtyard area is enclosed by a two-story adobe building at center, and one-story buildings to the left and right. At left, one of the doorways on the building is missing an actual door, while another is a wooden frame with picket fencing added. At right, a wooden door hangs open. The ranch house was built in 1844 by John (Juan) Temple, and was later the Jotham Bixby residence.
