Photograph caption dated May 30, 1962 reads, "Mrs. Joani Hannan, owner of 'Joani Presents' cocktail lounge, 6413 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, tells police officer R. Blanchard how a pistol-toting bandit help up her bar of $130. George Rogan, left, the bartender, said the bandit was about 6-foot-2 and wore a checkered sports shirt. The holdup man came into the bar, ordered a beer, left, then returned about 1:45 a.m. He drew a pistol, scooped the money out of the cash register and fled on foot."
