Gerth served as auctioneer and Guy M. Rush Co. and George A. Randel managed the event. Conditions of the ticket include, "This ticket entitles the holder, if an adult of the Caucasian Race, upon the ground at 2:30 P.M. to participate in the distribution of presents."
