Description
Established as a branch on August 21, 1927, the Novato Library was first situated in the upstairs of the Novato Community House, pictured here. In 1945, the library relocated to a larger location in the Torassa Building on Grant Avenue, where it remained until 1965. From 1965 until 1971, the library was located at the Tresch-Triangle Building. In 1971, the library moved into a new facility on Novato Boulevard.
