Description
Photograph caption dated July 13, 1964 reads "Fred Newman, left, Felix Torres and Jim Piersall, three happy Angels, celebrate in the dressing room Sunday after the trio played stellar roles to turn back the Minnesota Twins in both ends of the double header, 2-1, 3-2. Newman picked up his sixth win in the first game as he received batting help from Torres who homered and Piersall who drove in the winning run. Piersall also collected two hits in the 10-inning nightcap thriller."
