Description
Episode 134 of the California Academy of Sciences' television program Science in Action features guest scientist Dr. Donald E. Savage, of the University of California Museum of Paleontology (http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/about/history/desavage.php). Savage was a paleontologist, and later went on to become the director of the UCMP. The episode also focuses on the sturgeon, native to California, and currently listed on the federal Threatened Species list.
