Photograph caption dated September 22, 1962 reads, "These two sets of Valley twins came home from the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona with prizes from the first annual twin contest. In the center, Mark (top) and Jimmy Eppstein of Reseda, won the top prize for look-alike fraternal twins in the 7-12 age group. Kandance (left) and Cindy Obest, 10, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Obest of Sherman Oaks, won second prize for identical girls in the same age group."
