Photograph of Eagle Rock pioneers on the Shumacher Ranch, Los Angeles, ca.1905. A young man in short pants stands next to a bicycle in front of a woman who is situated in a horse-drawn carriage just behind him to the right. Further left, a man stands at center in a vest and hat, watching three dogs eat from pans that have been placed on the ground in front of him. Four more men stand in front of a second horse-drawn carriage in the background, while a third stands facing forward to their right. A two-story stable can be seen in the background, partially obscured by the foliage of a large tree that stands at right. Hills are visible in the distance.
