Description
This 1996 postcard shows the frieze, pediment and dome of the California State Capitol building as well as a statue of Christopher Columbus and Queen Isabella which stood below the building's interior rotunda. The statue was carved in Florence, Italy, and donated to the state in 1883 by Sacramento banker D.O. Mills.
