Description
The Humanities Building, named for Bette Cree Edwards '49, a former member of the Board of Trustees, opened in 1970 and served as the principle classroom facility for the college. Designed by architect, John Carl Warneke, this building combines modern forms with elements of the traditional Mediterranean-style architecture of the 1920s buildings, such as the white stucco walls and red tile roof. Pictured are students walking in the courtyard.
