Photograph caption dated December 27, 1956 reads “Shapely little Linda Burton, 8008 Aura St., Reseda, is in a Gruen bathing suit valued at more than $12,000. She was at Harts (sic) Jewelers in Van Nuys to deliver the newest design in Gruen watches to S. Partner, the proprietor, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, and leading jeweler. The bathing suit is made of gold thread and is adorned with 100 solid gold Super Gruen Power Park watches.”
