Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the original Coloma school house, ca.1930. The school house stands center and appears to be made of logs. The windows on the front and side of the house are partially boarded while the door on the left and the walls are discolored and damaged. A second, lightly-colored building stands on the far left and appears to be much less damaged. Several leafless trees stand amongst the buildings while a small shed can be seen behind a small fence on the right. The town and hillside can be seen in the distance. Picture file card reads "The original school house built in the middle 1850's. A modern one now occupies the grounds to the right -- out of the field of the photo".
