Photograph of an old logging chute, ca.1900. Even sized tree trunk portions sit in a line with end to end in pairs. The line of trunks extend from the center foreground to the background while tall trees can be seen on the land surrounding it. In the foreground, the line of trunks rests on a column of trunks lined up perpendicular to the ones on top and side by side.
