Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Mack. Date: 1957-01-10. Reporter: White. Assignment: Fire Prevention Series -- with 2nd article in series. Special Instructions: Artist to put in smoke, fire effects. LA Examiner photo especially posed by LA Fire Dept. experts, based on real incidents. 11, 71, 72: 'This is where we always find them.' Children hide in closets in fires -- unless family drills have taught them not to, and what to do. (Boy is Dale Burton, 4, son of a fireman, Inspector Kenneth Burton.)"
