Description
Photograph of a swimming pool at Camp Rincon, Azusa, ca.1930. A large swimming pool with rock-made edges is seen in the center. There are people in the pool, mostly young boys, with wooden boards which they seem to use as floating devices. They are seen wearing short-sleeved shirts. A shower head is visible close to one of the corners of the pool located in the center foreground. To its right, two long pipes are seen oriented towards the direction of the pool. One of them is pouring water into the pool. On the other visible corner of the pool, in the center background, what appears to be a diving board is located next to a ladder that goes into the pool. In the left, women wearing semi-formal dresses are seated on a bench next to the pool. The background is filled with thick vegetation.
