Description
Many of the Indian boys and girls are taught to be tailors at the schools maintained by the government and are here shown making women's coats from the colorful "Chimoya" blankets. This tribe excels in quality and design of any handmade Indian blanket. This is just one of the many forms of handiwork which is shown at their headquarters. Photo dated: September 30, 1929.
