Photograph caption dated April 11, 1957 reads, "Elmer Greeing, left, member of YMCA's Learn-To-Swim Week Committee, prepares to hit water as Chuck Chapman, executive secretary of North Hollywood Y, holds his coat. Actually students will be taught to swim during Easter holiday April 15-19 by more modern means than shown above. Parents wishing to enroll their youngsters may call POplar 3-5126 for further information."
