Description: Inside view of St. Anthony Catholic Church, built in 1955 and located at 1901 S. San Gabriel Blvd in the city of San Gabriel. Photo shows a long stained glass window depicting the Assumption. According to Roman Catholic doctrine and the traditions of the Catholic Church, the Blessed Virgin Mary "having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory." Meaning that, Mary, the mother of Jesus, was transported into Heaven with her body and soul united. Photo dated: December 23, 2006.
