V1p130a In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. I, page 130 top. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Text written under photo: "Police Station Golden Gate Park 1898. Manuel De La Guerra, S.M. Thompson, H.S. Dearborn, Chas. Budd and James Kavanaugh. This station had an Emergency Hospital attached and was located on noll [sic] opposite Aviary N side of driveway." Text written on photo below each man: "de la Guerra, Thomson, McManus, Dow, Budd, Kavanaugh 1898"; these names differing somewhat from text below photo. View is of one-story, wooden police building with six officers in front, two on horseback. Negative, no. 20,160.
