She stands outside in front of a wood and mud wall of dwelling with a thatched roof, the large jug balanced on a ring on her head. She is wrapped in a print cloth or blanket around her shoulders, under which she wears a long print dress. A crop grows behind a wire and wood post fence at left in the background.
