Description
A large group of the students at the Palos Verdes Language School at the Portuguese Bend Community Center. Included in this photograph are Masaichi Ishibashi, who is peeking through in the third row and his brother George Ishibashi standing by the pole of the banner. A sign written in Japanese hangs on the side of the building.
The collection documents the personal life and business records of the Ishibashi family; one of the pioneer Japanese American farming families on the Rancho Palos Verdes Peninsula in Los Angeles, California from about 1910 until 2012.
