Hollywood director William Desmond Taylor was murdered Feb. 2, 1922 and the crime went unsolved. Shown here is his ex-wife Ethel May, who had been married to Taylor when his name was William Cunningham Deane-Taylor and he was living in New York. She divorced him in 1912, and later married Edward L.C. Robins.
