Just to the right of center, one of three men -- who appears to be in motion -- climbs a set of metal stairs towards a cylindrical metal apparatus with a riveted exterior. Farther right, the other two men stand on a nearby platform. What appears to be one of the mirrors for the telescope can be seen at the center of the cylinder in the background.
