Photograph of two Zuni Indian men making wampum, ca.1900. Both men are wearing buttoned up collar shirts and have turban-like headbands wrapped around their heads. The man on the left is measuring a piece of wood, while the man on the right is using a primitive drilling tool to drill into a small object situated on top of a wooden crate. The man on the right is wearing three necklaces of wampum. The man on the left is laying down silver(?) and preparing it for his associate to drill. Around them lie slabs of stones(?).
