Photograph caption dated February 26, 1964 reads, "The Optimist Club of Chatsworth gave a testimonial dinner Tuesday night to actor Bill Williams of Sherman Oaks, presented a plaque to him because of his 'months of willing participation in events for boys' and gave a bouquet to his wife actress Barbara Hale. Williams was cited for aid to the Valley Optimists' variety show which sent hundreds of dollars to the Optimist Boys Club in Devore Heights, San Bernardino. Williams was inducted into the Chatsworth club as an honorary Optimist." Photograph caption reads, "Actor Bill Williams, left, and wife, Barbara Hale, view plaque presented him - Reginald Byette honored Williams on behalf of the Chatsworth Optimist Club."
