Woods presents street-crossing guard May Smith with pin commemorating her 15-year service protecting school-bound children. Award was made at her station at Bassett street and Coldwater Canyon avenue. Looking on are Mrs. Louise Carson, principal of Coldwater Canyon Elementary School, and North Hollywood students, Doyle Suttle, 10, 7120C Ethel Ave., and Bambi Binyon, 7, 13133 Archwood St., from the Canyon school."
