Photograph caption dated January 18, 1981 reads, "Andy Soulanille surveys the twisted sheet metal that used to be a sleek Trans-Am." Soulanille, owner of the towing company at the S.N. Ward Mobil Station at 733 S. Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena, explains that the service station displays different wrecked cars each month in hopes of preventing future accidents and fatalities. Artoor Terminassians, 20, of Glendale, and Amirhossein Akhlarkhavery, 22, or Northridge, were killed in the Trans-Am on December 27 at 2 a.m. in Pasadena when the car veered out of control at speeds estimated at above 100 mph.
