Description
Image of the Oakland Bay Bridge as seen from Embarcadero docks with the "Oregonian" at dock and Yerba Buena Island and various cargo ships in the distance in San Francisco, California.
Title devised by cataloger; date supplied by cataloger based on the year the Bay Bridge was completed in 1933. The Oregonian was sister ship to the Ohioan-ME which shipwrecked on October 7, 1936, while trying to enter the Golden Gate in heavy fog, image of the wreckage is seen in related item photCL_555_06_2316.
