Photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on October 17, 1965 states: "Mrs. Ernest Ophuls, left, of the Crocker Art Gallery Association shows the internationally known artist and stage designer Tony Duquette and his wife some of the historical beauties of the Governor's Mansion. Duquette, in Sacramento to address the association, toured a number of the city's older homes."
