Die Kirchendiener in Elim." ("The church attendants in Elim."). The picture shows a group of 13 women and 16 men of African, European and mixed origin. The men stand in the background in two rows, the women wear head scarfs and sit in the front row. Some wear dark dresses and some white pinafores. One man of European origin stands in the door of the house with a thatched roof behind the group. To the left of the door an open window. Behind the group a big tree. Imprinted on the image: "1719.
