Photo--black and white: -Freestone Schoolhouse in Freestone in 1973 before the start of its restoration around 1976. . The abandoned school is seen in disrepair. The school is now (2009) a Sonoma County Historic Landmark. Built in 1852 on the O'Farrell property on the western foot of O'Farrell Hill. In 1983 the building was Gene Walker Real Estate office.
