This is a photograph of a group of "Judge Tsuchiya San's family with Father Murrett [bride on his left]." Rev. Murrett was born in Buffalo, NY. He entered Maryknoll in 1913 and was ordained in 1923. His first assignment was to supervise the Asian students studying in the U.S. under Maryknoll sponsorship. He was assigned to Fushun in 1932 and returned to work in the U.S. in 1937.
