Photograph caption dated December 15, 1958 reads, "Ceremony held - Completion of the 146th Tactical Fighter Wing's newly built officers' and enlisted men's dining hall is marked with a dedication ceremony at the wing's Van Nuys base. Taking part in the ceremony are, from left, Harry Dow, vice president of the Commission of Airports; Maj. Gen. Earle M. Jones, adjutant general of the state of California; Maj. Gen. Marvin Sturgeon, Wing commander, and Assemblyman Lou Cusanovich."
