Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Sansone. Date: 02-01. Reporter: Parker. Assignment: La Cienega Freeway crash. Five cars and truck involved in smashups in dense fog on La Cienega Freeway 100 yards north of Slauson Avenue. 16: Convertible which caromed off rear of another car plunged over concrete dividing strip. Car at right hit rear end of car of 'curious onlooker' who had slowed to see wreck. City Water and Power truck which overturned after hitting a car that slowed for turn onto Slauson cutoff".
